To the Beach…on Newell offers plenty of options when it comes to being active. Firstly, the beach house is equipped with two mountain bikes, a pair of sit-on-top kayaks, fishing rods and tackle, kites, bocce’ and board games.

Several excellent golf courses are nearby, including Mossman Golf Club just a couple of minutes away. Two boat ramps are mere minutes away, and Port Douglas Marina is your step-off point to the best diving and snorkeling that the Great Barrier Reef has to offer, or try some reef or deep-sea fishing.

Exploring the Daintree rates as one of life’s great experiences. It starts just beyond the doorstep at To the Beach…on Newell, with Mossman Gorge 10 minutes away and the Daintree River and World Heritage Listed Rainforests just beyond.

Of course, you could just grab a long cool drink, a book or magazine, and escape in a hammock under the palms on tranquil Newell Beach.

While it is hard to resist Newell Beach at the end of the garden, the lagoon pool and waterfall is another option. Parents will be happy to know the pool area is completely fenced to restrict kids access.
